Sidoarjo is situated on the north-east tip of the island of Java in Indonesia. It is a business-oriented, industrial town neighbouring Surabaya, the second- largest city in Indonesia. Sidoarjo has a definite small-town feel to it, with a fairly tight-knit community. Sidoarjo is also ideally located for those who really want to get out and explore East Java, with its volcanoes, and traditional towns. Sidoarjo's proximity to the airport in Surabaya also means that trips to Bali and travel to the rest of Asia are also possible.

Applicant(s) should be/have:

• An accredited TEFL certificate from 4 or 5-week intensive course that included extensive teaching practice (or higher level certificate or degree program). Previous teaching experience is preferred, but not essential.
• Enthusiasm for teaching young learners.
• A team player and have a positive outlook. You will need to be flexible enough to adapt to living in a developing country.
